Vijayalakshmi’s Answer

Hi !! 22 years !! That's the age to become a pre school teacher . You must have completed a graduate course and preferably a course in Montessori training . This will help you gain professional knowledge to become a pre school teacher. Although a lot many people believe that teaching at school level does not require any professional degree- its more a passion and so on. Acquiring a professional degree in whatever career you choose will give you an edge that many of your peers who are also aiming for the same job may not possess.

Vijayalakshmi recommends the following next steps:

Analyse why you want to become a pre school teacher
Research into the salary and growth components of the career
Select schools that offer pre school teacher training
Choose a good graduation course ( at college level) that you can perhaps combine with your pre school teacher training course and pursue.
Check out on your budget and finances for these options .

Lyndsay’s Answer

There are education requirements to be a preschool teacher. Not only are you in charge of a large group of children, you are in charge of their education. I posted links below to help you get a better idea of exactly what is required to be a preschool teacher in Florida.

If you are too young and/or are not looking to go to college right now (or ever) look into being a teacher's assistant. The requirements are much easier to qualify for.
