What are the daily challenges that a Doctor of Physical Therapy faces during the work day?

I am curious because I am extremely interested in becoming a Physical Therapist and I want to know what it is like on a daily basis to help me decide that it is what I really want to do. #physical-therapist #physical-therapy

Hi LeAnne,

Some daily challenges that a PT faces during the work day include time management (lots of patients to see and you want to give them as much quality time as possible) and documentation of PT notes. I work as a pediatric PT so behaviors of some children can be challenging. It can also be difficult to motivate people to perform tasks. If you enjoy helping others, PT is a great career!

On a daily basis, here are my thoughts since I am a physical therapist by profession.

Firstly, the physical demand of the job because your job will be to assist,instruct the patient on how to get out of bed,how to stand up and how to walk in a safely manner. Normally, you are required to lift at least 50 pounds or more. So, you must be physically fit for the job. However, not all we do is lifting patient but we uses tools,equipment,and techniques in order to complete the job...
