Shelby’s Answer

You can check out schools like Aveda and speak to an admissions counselor. They offer different programs at different times and lengths depending on your interests. You can get special certificates like laser tattoo removal or laser hair removal that will allow you to make better money down the road

Shelby recommends the following next steps:

Melissa’s Answer

Hi Christina - I would check the state board of cosmetology website for your state, or the state you wish to live in. They will list all of the requirements for your state. Then, check for schools that are either recommended by your state board of cosmetology, or for schools that are accredited. Many accredited cosmetology/esthetics schools offer financial aid as well, and many local junior colleges offer programs. Good luck!!!
