Hi Sara! I'd suggest that you complete a college search through Collegeboard.org (Big Future). I've used this site with my students, for years, and it is fantastic. You will be able to enter your "must haves" and filter through the schools that don't match your plans/goals. Check it out, and hopefully you will find it useful.

Hey Sara,
Great question. There are a lot of other facets to take into consideration when choosing a college (such as cost and location) but just based on communications programs, you have a few options. The first two that come to mind are Newhouse School at Syracuse University and Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications at Penn State University. (I’m from the east coast, can you tell?)
But to look into other highly ranked communications programs I’d recommend checking out this list from Niche Colleges (https://www.niche.com/colleges/search/best-colleges-for-communications/) and this list from College Factual (https://www.collegefactual.com/majors/communication-journalism-media/communication-media-studies/rankings/top-ranked/ ) They rank the top communications programs in the country and University of Southern California is #1 on both. So if you're from/near California, you're in luck!
If none of these schools are appealing or realistic for you, that is completely fine, just make sure to check if the communications program at the college of your choice is accredited.
Best of luck to you as you embark on this journey and make your decision! I know you’ll figure it out :)
Best,
Erin

While several contributors have pointed out that there are numerous institutions renowned for their communications programs, the truth is, your choice of school doesn't significantly influence your future. Gaining practical experience in the real world is the most effective strategy to secure your desired career. Good luck!
