Each career has set requirements for progression. Look at each level within your career path and take note of the requirements for each; certifications, certain skillsets or abilities. Create a plan to accomplish the skills you lack. When I was at the entry level phase, I asked for a mentor, someone that can be my champion and assist me in my career path. I also had weekly conversations with my supervisor and asked to be exposed to responsibilities of the next level. Although development is up to you, be certain to communicate your goals and aspirations so that those who are in authority, such as your supervisor, or manager. They can assist your career progression.

Entry level is the time of having a lot of opportunities. Learning a lot of skills, topics and knowledge is a great way to prepare yourself on the next level. 1-2 years excellent work and great results will move you to next level.
