How can you maintain a good career within the fields of Art?
I've heard of people struggling when it comes to having a good stable career in Art professions,and I would like to know what know what can you do to have a good back or functional career on your shoulders? #art

Hi Brian,
The key to maintaining a good career in the art field is: practice, share your work (portfolio), and networking. I constantly tell people, the art/design world is different. You really have to have a public life (twitter, instagram, etc). Show people how you think, what you are reading, how you view the world. At the end of the day, people will decide if they want to work with you or not. I got to meet the Creative Director at Etsy, and he said he hires people is by reading their tweets on Twitter. It's his way of understanding what makes that person tick. Today's hiring world is more concern with who you are as a creative people and what you can bring to the table. Remember life is a struggle, BUT if you know what you want to do and work hard at it, you have stayed true to yourself.

I have been doing art since as young as i can remember and doing it professionally now for 6 years. I joined the online world 2018 and have a stable and consistent career. I now teach art online and make my own paints
Remember ,in any career you pursue, its takes dedication, consistence, persistence , failures, practice and patience in order to make it a success. Once you figure out your recipe, you keep doing it better and better
