Laura’s Answer

It is sometimes more feasible to start out as Part-time while you build up clients and experience and hold down a full time job as well to make sure you have enough income. Once you have become established in your area with enough clients and experience, you can venture into full time. It is a double edged sword though. If you are part time, you may not have enough time to devote to it which could lead to bad experiences for your clients, and if you are full time, you have to make sure you are working hard enough to get the amount of income you need. It is a balance that is sometimes hard to manage...but with time, experience, and mentorship, it can be well worth it!

Robin’s Answer

Hi Kendell! Real Estate can be considered both part time or full time. I myself am what is considered a "Duel Career" agent which means I do Real Estate but I also have a full time job. I do real estate in the evenings or on the weekends when I'm not doing my full time job. However, if you want to do real estate full time you can do that also.

Hope this helps!

Michelle’s Answer

It can be both. You can have it as a part-time job. If you are looking to eventually make it as a full-time job, start by doing it as a part-time gig until you get enough clients and referrals that your income is able to surpass your current FT wages.
