When it comes to the medical field, how difficult is it to handle the death of a patient? And do you sometimes, as a doctor, nurse, etc., end up becoming personally attached to a patient?

I want to go into the medical field, and am wondering whether or not my personality can match with it. #medicine #healthcare

Yes, Many become attached especially nurses due to the nurse is the one day and night taking care of the patient. The doctors have sympathy for the patient and the family members it is never easy to tell a family member that there loved one did not make it. I have not personally been in that position but I would assume that everyone would deal with the situation in there own way. Also there is the option of a counselor to talk to if you are unable to cope . However this is something you really need to think about when deciding what career is best.
