I am a junior in high school and I want to be neuro surgeon but first I have to take biology as a major in my college. How to find volunteering options as relatable to my major ?

Hello Atishay:
Since you are still in high school, a good place to start volunteering is at any of the local hospitals near you. Once you advance in your education to becoming a neuro surgeon, you will then qualify to volunteer or even get an internship in this field. Do you have a mentor or do you know anyone already working in this field?

Thanks for reply and I don’t have any mentor and I don’t know anyone who is in this field

My daughter is also on track to be a Neurosurgeon. She is a sophomore at U of Toronto.
Her high school had an office with listings of volunteer opportunities. She started there. Check your local clinics and hospitals. If you can't find something medical do something to help some other way. Meals on wheels. Tutoring. Better to do some work not related than nothing.
