What does it take to be a pediatric nurse?

Yes you need to be an RN, I would recommend going to college for a BSN (Bachelors of Science in Nursing) degree. Volunteer with an organization where you can be as clinically active as possible and see how medical offices and hospitals function. Graduate college, pass the nursing boards (NCLEX) and apply for your dream pediatric RN position!
