All young engineers these days are proficient in CADD skills. Certainly a good working knowledge in using Microsoft Excel is needed. Beyond that different engineering disciplines use different applications and programs. You should get exposed to some of these as your engineering education progresses.

Hi Lam, basically it depends on which engineering sector, but EXCEL is always useful whatever engineering field you choose. In addition to other programming languages such as C. Learn and practice as much as you can, specially softwares that enrich your data analytics skills.
