Why is it a bad idea to triple major if I know I can do it?

Hey Brian! That's very ambitious! I'm glad you are thinking of triple majoring but before you jump into it, make sure you know why you want to triple major. I did a double major in college with electrical engineering and business and it was a ton of credit hours that I barely fit into 4 years.

Before you run into a triple major, make sure you know why you want to do these three subjects and also how much time they will take out of your schedule. I know you think you can do it and I'm sure you can, but will your grades/social life suffer a lot from pursuing 3 majors? Do you really need all 3 majors to accomplish what you want to do after college? It also depends on difficulty if you can finish 3 majors in 4 years. Do you mind staying extra years in college to finish one more major?

You should consider all those questions before you decide to do it and if you are still committed, go for it! Good luck
