Passion can take you far in life! It is actually what I would consider the most important part of a job. If there is no passion, it reflects in your work. You can seek out specialized training in the area of your interest or get on the job training. Many organizations are becoming more lenient in terms of schooling requirements. It may be harder to get past the pre-screening process. However reaching out directly to hiring managers to highlight your skillsets may be a way around this. Make connections with people in the field to get guidance on the best way to break in.

Passion is far greater than succeeding at first try! Coming from a background in mathematics I met a lot of people that studied math who didn't do well. But because they persevered and had a passion for understanding math at a deeper level, they eventually succeeded and overcame their hardships. Passion will definitely take you far in life and there’s no greater satisfaction than to do something you love. Failure is the key to success and the more you have, the better the learning outcome if you have the passion to overcome what you lack simply for the sake of love for the subject. Keep going on strong, because I guarantee you that you will be very happy when you overcome your personal hardships and that’s because you earned it. Good luck!

Hi Divine,
Great to hear you have a passion you're interested in! I agree with everyone else's statements that this is something to run with and work towards; it can take some a long time to find or feel that spark when thinking about what they'd like to do, or a subject they like, so finding this is something to pay attention to! If you find yourself passionate about a subject, you may want to see if you find some books, videos, podcasts, or video essays around the topic you'd like to learn more about. Keep in mind starting this research does not need to be dependent upon how well you excel at this topic in school - let your curiosity steer the way! Through this, you may not only learn about the topic, but also figure out more about yourself and what the best method is to help you learn; reflecting on this, in turn, has the potential to help in school. It may also help you to discover other aspects of this passion or subject, which could lead to you discovering a career path you're interested in. It's important to look into the path needed for the career you're interested in once you discover your passion. Though school isn't for everyone, and academic success isn't everything, working through the needed education for the field you're interested in may be key to working towards your ultimate passion. On the other hand, school may not be needed, but it's still important to look into. You may also discover you're actually more interested in another aspect of this field or subject. It's okay to change your interest if that happens - then just try the process again! Figure out an interest/passion, work towards this, and don't give up in trying to find what you love! Let your passion guide your way.
Hope this helps - good luck!
Best,
Emily

Passion is a critical factor in any success in life. One can put in extra or even extraordinary effort to reach his/her goal. Therefore, it is imperative that you follow your passion.
It is also important to realize that academic success is not everything. Academic success does not necessarily translate into success in life. There are many other alternate paths to success aside from academic ones.
Nonetheless, successfully completing a high-school degree can be a door-opener for a lot of career paths. If you feel that you do not do well in school, you should reflect and review your situation, and try to figure out what are the obstacles that block you from academic success. Work around or overcome those obstacles.

Always follow your passion and don't give up! Talk to people who work in the field where your passion lies, and ask them for suggestions on how to get started. They may help be that foot in the door. If a formal education is required, give it another try perhaps at an online college, where you now have a passion and a purpose for doing well in school. Take courses that align with your interests, and keep your eye on the end goal - to graduate. Good luck!
