We only recieve financial aid for six years, if I finish the prerequiste classes for pre med in four years and i get into med school and I will have two years left over in financial aid. I do not know if I can use them for med school or not. #financial-aid #financial-planning #college #medical-school #medicine #healthcare #hospital-and-health-care

Rachel’s Answer

All students are typically offered a full financial aid package that will cover all of their expenses for 4 years of medical school. However, most of the money will need to be repaid.

Sanaz’s Answer

This one is tough to answer. In medical school, yes their are scholarships you can receive which will help you chip at the debt. There are loans that you can take which refinance your loans to a lower interest rate and their are some programs you can commit to that forgive your loans. Financial aid can also mean loans and in medical school its primarily that. Scholarships are available but typically a lot less likely to receive due to availability and competition.
