I am really interested in Psychology , and want to help people with mental illness . I am neither an extrovert nor an i . I am morentrovert of an ambivert. Can i be a psychologist ?

Since I was 12 years old I loved talking to people. Listening to their problem and giving them advice. I started searching about psychology when I found out one of my relatives is struggling with Schizophrenia. #psychology-career

Hello Callista_ A!

You absolutely can be a psychologist! Wanting to speak with people about their struggles and helping them cope is a great start! You'll likely need around 6-12 years of university if you want to be successful in this career. There are several careers within psychology so that's why the university requirements vary so much. I would speak with people at your school about the best path to becoming a psychologist as they'll be able to better inform what you need to do within your country.

Thanks and good luck!
