The beauty behind computer science is that the field keeps changing.
When I was hired 25 years ago, the large computers were physically, really, really large.
Today, it's all about the cloud, network security, and data.
You would want to find a college program that approaches the newer fields.

Greater projected income potential and market permeability gain the funds to go back for less profitable areas of study or travel in a globalized economy and automation explosion.
As a biology major gone CS gone dropout gone IT consultant gone sysadmin gone software consultant gone startup employee, llc owner corporation cofounder .. this was the right choice for me and if you can wait 2-4 years for your favorite thing it is worth it.
I will come back to biology at some point and I have an adaptable plan that merges both into something neat.
