What can I do with a BS in psychology?
I'm an incoming college freshman and plan on majoring in psychology. I want to make sure I'm going to get a degree that will be most useful to me after I graduate. #psychology #college-major

There are so many career choices and paths available with a psychology degree UX or UI (user experience/interface) designer in the software/company industry benefit from having psychology backgrounds because these roles help create websites/search engines based upon human behavior and preferences. You can also combine human behavior and economics within a business, You can take the LSAT to become a lawyer. You can take a role in Human Resources which focuses on the people side of running a business.

Depending on where you live, I recommend getting a Masters or Doctorate in Psychology. This will allow you more job opportunities and opportunities to grow. If you can get licensed as a Psychologist (after getting your doctorate), you can do SO many different things!

A B.S in Psychology is one of the most versatile degrees you can have.
In my case, I hold a B.S in Psych with a minor in business and decided to go the Human Resources route. I find that my bachelors in psych has helped me tremendously in my field, paired with my Masters in HR as well. My point is, if you enjoy psych and want to study it, you absolutely can without feeling that you need to commit to clinical psychology, which is why I feel it's a great bachelors for someone who is on the fence about what they want to do long-term. It will not close any doors (unless of course, you want to be an engineer or something very specialized).

My BS in Psych allowed me to go into many different fields (Clinical, Supply Chain, Marketing, Tech Sales). If you can sell yourself well and work your way up, you can land in many different careers if you wanted to.
