Should I pick my college solely for its program even if other ones have everything else better?
I want to go to SUNY Stonybrook for its program but Binghamton has a much nicer facility. I'm not sure what to do. #college

This is a very good question to ask when considering where to go to school. I think it is very important to consider all aspects of the school, including the different facilities, classes, professors, the surrounding area, and what the school has to offer in general. While it is very important to make sure the college you are considering offers a great program for your field of study, I think it is equally important to consider the school in general because it is where you will be spending all of your time for the upcoming years. I also think it is very important to actually want to be at the school and look forward to what it has to offer, in terms of your mental health and enjoying your time there. Overall, you have to really think about what you want and weigh out your options and make the best decision for yourself. I hope this helps with your decision, good luck.

Hi Christopher!
You asked a very good question.
What ever you do should be done to advance your career. The best program might allow you to become more involved and successful in your career. However, you will not really have a good idea until you have talked to people who have gone through programs at each school. A good way to learn more is to talk to the head of alumni relations at both schools and arrange to talk to graduates of these schools to learn from them about the programs and facilities and professors, etc., and see what they are doing with their education and get their input on the decision that you face.
Best of luck! Keep me posted. I would like to follow your progress!
