Hi John,
It is a good question.
I consider that you must begin to answer many questions in order to find your dream job.
- What topics are you good at school?
- What do you like doing?
- Do you consider to be entrepreneur? Or do you like to be more structured being part of an standard organization?
- Do you like to help people?
The most important think is to find balance between what you like /what you are good at/what are your monetary expectations.
Good luck!

Great question, I think most of us ask that same million dollar inquiry. So John David, here is my suggestion. . .
Do any of your friends have a job that looks interesting or who have you noticed that someone you know is usually in a good mood, doesn't complain about their job, seems comfortable in their own skin? If so, ask them what they do for work. The deal is soooo many jobs fit your question. You need to try as many different types of work that you can. I have a degree in a field I have never worked in because right out of college I went to work at a job that I worked part time at and absolutely loved. It has been over 40 years ago and I am in the same industry, doing well and enjoying everyday. The more opportunities you try the closer you will be to your dream career.

Hi John,
I believe what you are actually asking is how hard is it to find your dream job based on the facts that you like manual thing and help others. Because as-is, I would return your question with: Tell me how hard it was to get your dream job and what it is :)
If you are asking help about jobs where you can be manual and help/share with others, there are just too many to have an exhaustive list.
- what do you like doing?
- what topics are you good at school?
- how long are you ready to continue school after being graduated from high school?
- what manual things do you like (building, manipulating) ?
There are a lot of options from what you just said.
