Estelle’s Answer
4 years of college
4 years of medical school
4 years of residency in anesthesia
So 12 years of training total!
On top of that anesthesiologists need to be strong communicators, think quickly on their feet, and have courage when their patients have a life-threatening disease.
It is a difficult but fulfilling career!
