Hi Romeo - You can achieve anything! Stick with your passions and see where it takes you! While it is hard to make money selling paintings and writing music, there are plenty of people out there who do. There are also plenty of people out there who use their creative talents in other kinds of jobs like marketing, advertising and fund raising. Stick with your passions and the rest will follow! Good luck!

You can absolutely achieve anything. If you're looking to set achievable goals, start small and work your way up. See what your favorite artists do for inspiration. They may even have challenges of their own that you could participate in.

Hi Romeo, This is an amazing field. My son just started his degree program at Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design. He wants to work in Animae. I suggest trying to find a specific niche that you want to paint in. There are hundreds of ways you can go with this interest. Keep working at it! Stay positive and if you are passionate and determined to succeed in this field, you will! There are also numerous websites you can join as a budding painter. You may want to try some of these to start:

I am a musician and and an artist and I thought a life where music and art is not involved in my job would be a miserable one. But then I got into coding and found that it really satisfied my need to create and of course I still play a ton of music on my offtime (which I have a lot of because I work great hours). I would recommend you take a quick dive into it because I know dozens of musicians who have made the change, there is some kind of connection between the two that no one fully understands.
