Hello Brianna, thank you for the question. Firstly, this depends on what you want to do in the medical field? There are a wide variety of level's in the medical field. You will need all of your general educational classes. So start with those. This depends on how your grade point ave. Many, medical careers require a greater than G.P.A. than I want to say at least a 3.5 for specialist. Now if you like nursing this is another field that you can look into. You must explore all the areas of the medical field and see if this will be a good fit for you, with grades, the college that you will be attending etc. I may suggest a community college for all the pre edu classes then you can decide where you want to go from there. At most community colleges offer the AAS degree and many credits or units that will transfer to any college. This is a less expensive way to start. However, if you want to have fun get your grades up all the way through high school stay focused, and you can get scholarships, for med school pre med etc. You do have to have a 4.0 plus for this. Many people have a 4.0 now. So it is important to remain comepetitive, in any field you decide that you want to go into. If you feel you are better in one subject than another then you can use your talent in that area to accerate. Like Science opposed to English or Math. Anyway, good luck to you. I hope your career path is fun.
