Hello Ashley, its just about right as in our human life development through various ages, stages- everything starts afresh. Even our cells in the body are refreshed every morning. So by all means keep an eye for employers who provide jobs to students and align it to your goals of working (income to support studies, support yourself/family etc.) Do also spend time to create a one-page of a dossier/CV on your interests, passion, studies etc.

Good luck

Ray’s Answer

Hi Ashley-

It's a good question. Everyone in the working world at one time got their first job without any prior work experience, so it is absolutely ok.

If you are able to identify some potential types of job that interest you, for your first job your interest and passion for a particular type of work can go a long way to getting hthe job and regardless of what that first job is, you will definitely gain some valuable experience and knowledge that can help you as you continue in that role or help as you think about other different types of jobs if the first one doesn't work out or doesn't turn out to be to your liking.

I hope this helps and best of luck to you!

Ray
