What should I minor in as a future nurse?

I am already a Spanish minor, but I'd like to add another one before I graduate.

Psychology, nutrition, sociology, or healthcare administration! It may be nice to have some sort of business background if you ever want to switch career paths down the road.

I am going to start with this--minoring does not help you in any significant way when you apply for jobs. If you'd like to look into different minors you can pursue, you may want to look into something in the sciences, since nursing has a strong science background. Maybe there's a medical laboratory science minor you might want to pursue that will give you a better look into the grit lab testing. That being said, don't worry about getting another minor! You can minor in whatever you want! It most likely will not impact how you get hired or your appeal.
Thank you comment icon I agree. Minors are more for your own study. And they are an additional cost to your education. Only get a minor if you are passionate about the subject or you have a full ride and are walking out of school debt free. Tia Stafford
