Hi Lily,
There are plenty of opportunities you can take advantage of without having your graduate degree. Many students find a role they enjoy and can transition into after graduation through internships. I would recommend you reach out and connect with your local healthcare companies and inquire about internships. Also, take advantage of any such programs offered through your school. I had a number of interns come through my area that found a good fit and if nothing else they had the experience to put on their resume to shop elsewhere.
A great process for you to initiate is to proactively engage the various companies in your area and let them know your interest while you continue to study. Ask to stay in touch and take advantage of any opportunity to get your foot in the door to get some experience. It doesn't have to be your dream job, but if you have interest in the field it will benefit you to begin gaining experience and learn more about the operations of healthcare from the inside. You will find where your interests are soon enough and have an easier ability to transition to that area due to the track record you have established in healthcare.
Hope this helps and good luck!

Hi Lily,
I majored in health sciences as an undergrad, and I can share with you from my personal experiences that there are many career opportunities out there for you! First, it can be helpful for you to think about why you chose this major out of many others. In other words, go back to your motivations that made you decide on this major.
I chose health sciences because I felt it gave me the most flexibility for someone determined to pursue a healthcare career. After working in long-term care, biomedical research, and mental health, now I'm about to start PA study as a graduate student, but the point here is that as you can see, I was able to use my health sciences major to work in many areas of health and healthcare. Think about whether a career in health is what you want and start from there, Lily.
Good luck!
