If you are interested in Interior Design, I recommend you take a online / onsite short course to ensure you like this field. Or you can participate a mentorship with a designer for a day or two. That way you will know if this field is fit for you. Once you say 100%, go for an education for this field. You can also read interior magazine, books, etc.
Hope this help.

Consider creating a portfolio so you can develop and share your own artistic vision.
- Read magazines with articles about home and interior design. Cut out photos you like and glue them in a notebook. Write down what you like about each picture and what you don't.
- Go shopping (either in person or online) and take pictures of items that inspire you. Consider what makes them attractive to you. Is it the color? The shape? The style?
- Get creative! Draw pictures or create dollhouses or miniatures of rooms you'd love in real life.
Doing these types of activities will help you define yourself as an artist and make it easier to communicate your ideas to others.
Also, consider a part-time job or volunteer work in customer service or hospitality where you have to work with clients. As an interior designer, being attentive to customers' needs, including receiving critical feedback, is an important part of the job!
