What kind of companies can I work for with a business degree?

I want to know the range of the types of companies that I can work for. For example, would a company like Dropbox or Facebook hire someone with a business degree? Thanks! #business

Thank you comment icon I guess it would really depend on what type of business degree you have, if you are focus more on communication or finance Mimi

Hi,
The good news is that a business degree can literally help you in any business, government or organization that you choose to work for. Depending on what you want to do for whomever you work for, you may need additional skills or degrees but a business degree is good to get you into entry-level positions and training programs with a lot of companies and organizations.
Good luck!

Every company is in business, right? The success of a company is defined how it functions as a whole. You can have the greatest products designed by engineers and manufactured with the highest quality. However, without marketing to drive interest and demand, and sales to cultivate and develop relationships, product will not sell. Sales is the ultimate measure. My company is publicly held and every quarter there is ... Quarter Results ... quarter revenue. Investors make decisions everyday whether to buy stock in a company by in large what direction their sales are going.

A business degree is broad enough that it can impact just about any company. Principals of business can be applied in just about any business. I knew when I graduated, what I acquired I could apply to whatever company I worked at. I just needed to find that company and believe in their cause and have passion and excitement. Then I could apply my skills to contribute to the growth and bottom line.

I hope this was helpful,
All the best!

There are so many possibilities with a business degree. You will be at an advantage whichever company you choose. It will be your work ethic and passion for learning that differentiate you at the company you do end up with. Figure out your interests and what would fulfill you enough to stay with that job. That is key! If you find something you love, it won't feel like work! Good luck and best wishes!
