Is it possible to switch your profession from a doctor to a famous singer?

Hi, my dream as a child was to become a famous singer, and I'm also very known to have a beautiful voice etc. but my father was telling me that it wouldn't be a stable career as a start off and I should choose a career that would, like a doctor. And after I finish med school, I can go off and start my singing career knowing that I'm still licensed from being a doctor, and also making money from it while I'm a singer. But question is, I don't know how that would turn out. Should I (1) during med school, I sing in local gigs WHILEim studying in med school? Or (2) after I graduate med school I start the singing career? Even though I might be a little old for that. So I really don't know. PLZZ HELP. #and #doctors #singers

The decision about which career to follow should be a decision made by you, not made by your father, no matter how much he wants and desires the best for you, as a good parent.
