Hi Likho,
Why not explore what gives you excitement and passion, things you enjoy? Then you can narrow down what you can do! It sounds like you have a good skill in being able to set your mind to something once you have a goal. You can also visit a career counselor if one is available in your area if it is tough to narrow down! You can also explore O*Net, which lists out careers, though you may need to check that they are careers available in your area, or where you would like to live in the future. Good luck!

I would recommend computer technology, especially in the security area, which will be in great demand. How do you prevent hackers from intruding into your computer systems.? With the internet being ubiquitous , once you have mastered the security side of Computer Science, a lot of companies in the world will hire you and reward you greatly. Of course, you will need to be interested in this area first.

Try to find something you are good at (and enjoy) and figure out a way to make money doing it. How do you like to spend your time? What do you find easy? Do you prefer reading, maths, or drawing? There are many different careers within technology, choose what comes most naturally to you.

Ken’s Answer

There are many jobs you can take on as a friendly person who is patient and enjoys learning. If you are also interested in IT, your patience and friendly personality will serve you well in any support role. Many IT people just want to focus on the technical side of things so you can help them by interacting more with end users, clients and other stakeholders. Learn more about the business side of things as well and in time you may be well suited for a leadership role.
