Similar to Michael's response, my advice would be to start by identifying what you enjoy doing in your spare time. Do you enjoy fashion and shopping? You could consider a career in Fashion Merchandising or Product Development. I know sometimes it's hard to make the link when you aren't sure what career opportunities are available, so feel free to share your interests and we can help!

Hi Jalayla,
I have worked my entire career in manufacturing, supply chain & logistics and would encourage you to begin exploring this field of work. There are many opportunities across these disciplines, and never a dull moment. If you love working with people, I would recommend researching roles in operations management or retail management in which you would lead a team of people on the floor in a store or warehouse, coaching and developing your team and pushing towards a common goal. There is a lot of intrinsic value associated with roles in this space, and great opportunities for you to grow personally and professionally through the act of leading a team through adversity, sharing both the wins and the losses. A few companies that come to mind with US manufacturing and logistics operations: PepsiCo, General Mills, Target, Walmart, General Electric, 3M, Cargill, Boeing, etc.
Best of luck in your career exploration journey! Remember to stay true to your values and strengths, and trust your intuition when deciding whether or not a role or opportunity would be a good fit for you.
