I would advise checking into a volunteer program-hospice, in the hospital, local health agency to help you determine if this line of work is what you want to do. There are various entry levels for nursing. I would advises speaking with nurses in your area, students who are in nursing school, and your school guidance counselor for options in a nursing career in your area. I started out in nursing as a nurse assistant then got my LPN degree then my RN degree. This also gave me a wonderful perspective of the area of nursing I wanted to work in after obtaining my RN degree. Good luck!

Hi!
There are so many ways to begin your nursing journey. Many people begin as a CNA (certified nurses aid) and then attend school. You could begin by that, or applying to be in emergency services, or plain, look into community colleges that offer nursing programs, even a certificate program!
