Good day,
Such a great question and skills to accomplish to get far in your life. Soft skills are sometimes overlooked but the importance of them reigns far ahead. Etiquette, manners, being polite, pleasant, kind, patient, well spoken, and forgiving are so vital for superb communication and rallying an atmosphere of trust and empathy. Keep practicing these and you'll be highly accomplished! :)
As for career skills it would depend on the field but I feel computer skills are also in. For instance being both PC and Mac literate is good. Mastering Microsoft office suite, OneDrive, Sharepoint, keyboarding and overall tech savvy is always good! Organizational skills are always nice and I recommend understanding how to use an office phone, and printer/copier/fax machine. Excellent writing skills will also be used because every position will need to send an email out.
I hope this advice reaches you well and that you get a boost in your workplace skills! My best and feel free to contact me anytime.
Sincerely,
Troy

Hi,
Good question...I think the hard skills depend on the type of job you are applying for and your experience. I would definitely say to include anything related to the job you are seeking. Soft skills are a little different, I would say to include anything related to being a manager, working with people, projects, solving problems, being creative and nowadays I think it is important to let potential employers know if have experience working remotely/at home or on a distributed team...for example, I am a team leader for a distributed/remote team that is in 3 different countries :)
good luck!

Hi Jackie,
It depends upon the job and your skill set. Some universal soft skills would include; team player, communication skills, the ability to organize, good time management and problem solving skills. The hard skills would depend upon your technical skill set. You could include items like computer skills, such as word, power point and excel. You can also include budgeting and accounting skills, if you have them.
Best of luck.
