The fact that you acknowledge you like shopping and nice food is a good start.

If you can transform your preferred activities into a society benefit career, this will help you achieve something even bigger.

Hello,
I completely agree with Michael’s Answer... Being raised and living overseas, I would like to add to his answer. Studying abroad (Germany) school is free. I would look into that if you decide to take the chef route.
"Food Critic" or "Journalist" may be an option as well with lots of travel, and food!
