Jeremy’s Answer
From everyone I encountered in my life, I think an electrician license is a must for a maintenance person. the maintenance guy in my area also has CPR license for emergency situations. Personally, I learnt lots of my hands-on stuff through YouTube tbh. But I'm not professional though. Electricity should be the hardest to work with for sure.

Can you be more precise ? What maintenance are you asking about?
Light repair maintenance, so just small stuff.

Jerome’s Answer
Almost all current maintenance tasks rely on some sort of electronics, such as meters, monitoring tools, diagnostic applications, and so forth, so whether you're dealing with automotive, building/facility/HVAC, or other fields, a solid understanding of basic electronics and computing systems will be critical to your career path. Beyond that, however, it depends on what specific type of "maintenance" you are going to do.
