As said before me, YES you can become a commercial pilot after your studies. As a matter of fact you can become a commercial pilot at any time. There are no age limit or pre-studies requirements to become a commercial pilot. Pilots licenses and rating go completely separate from your undergrad classes. You can also do them both at the same time, that’s what I did. So by the time you finished your college degree you can also have your commercial license and maybe more. I will use myself as an example: I got PPL and Instrument rating on my first year, CPL multi and single engine add on on my second year. On my 3rd year at college I got my CFI, CFII. So while I was still staking classes I was part time instructor and building my hours. Last Year of college I got my MEI.
I will have to agree and disagree with Alain. I will 100% agree that flying is very expensive but I will disagree in the timeframe it takes to become a Commercial Pilot. As a matter of fact I do not know of anyone that took more than 5 years….even less 10. The time it takes is directly related to how much you put in it. I have seen pilots that get their commercial license in 1 year and some in 3. It all depends on how much effort, time, and dedication you put in it.

You can becomes a pilot after finishing your undergraduate indeed. However, to become a pilot, you could take the cadet program organized by airlines and obtain the relevant qualification. In the cadet program, you will have the opportunities to learn the aviation theory and practice flying. There are assessment from time to time throughout the training. Alternatively, you can consider to take the aviation course in the college yourself. In this case, you may need seek opportunities how to practice the flying and gain the flying hours in order to obtain the commercial pilot license.
I suggest you could explore more information on the path to become commercial pilot in India because it may be different in different places.
