Becoming an Occupational Therapy Assistant requires an Associates Degree. You are not required to have a Bachelor’s Degree for this career choice. Check community colleges in your area to determine which may offer an Occupational Therapy Assistant Program. With your research you can find out which prerequisite courses are required before applying for the program. Best wishes.

Brianna’s Answer

From what I know, it is recommended to get an associate's degree from a program that pertains to being an occupational therapy assistant. Also, gaining field experience however you can is also strongly recommended.
Hope this helps!
