It likely varies. In different companies you will find different rate of salaries been offered to the employers. But I must say animators really get paid well. If you are expectations are higher in salary matters you need to keep sending your CV to different organizations and you will get to know the salary you will be paid there. Hope this helps!

The median annual wage for special effects artists and animators was $77,700 in May 2020. The median wage is the wage at which half the workers in an occupation earned more than that amount and half earned less. The lowest 10% percent earned less than $42,390, and the highest 10% percent earned more than $142,750.
Most special effects artists and animators work a regular full-time schedule; however, when deadlines are approaching, they may need to work nights and weekends. I hope this was helpful. Best of luck to you!
