Hi Anthony!

I am not an electrician but I work with electricians a lot in the manufacturing environment. I would say the main source of risk of electricians is of course electrocution. Obviously if you going to be working with electrical systems, you should be cautious of dealing with potentially lethal electrical current. Other than that I would say the risk of working above the ground or in heights, potential ergonomic injuries from vibration tools, repetitive motions, or uncomfortable postures or depending on the equipment you are working, potentially major injuries from machines with blades, saws, grinding wheels, etc.

Although these all seems like crazy risks, there's a lot of protocols, safety guidelines, and procedures companies setup to protect the wellbeing of their electricians, so as long as you follow proper procedure and make smart decisions while working you should be safe and return home every day without injury.

Good luck in your journey!
