Hey Jose,
The best way to take on this challenge is to primarily understand what it is you want to do in a Video Game company.
For example lets assume you are really into creating video game level design, you would then go and look at job postings for "creative director" or "design" within companies that you might care about (Activision/Blizzard/Valve etc).
From there you would want to look at the requirements within the job posting and workbackwards into what skills you have that might be related to that position (Do they look for experience in Unity? C#? Portfolio of designs?)
It might also be beneficial to look into internship capabilities, or even just reach out! Emailing or contacting your favorite companies might lead to responses or insights that you might not have been aware of as well.
Bottom line is to get started by taking action, and do so with your end goal in focus.

Hi Jose,
Essentially it's a grind, you have to stay on top and apply as early as possible to jobs you're looking for. Even if the job isn't something you'd like to do or something you'd enjoy, it might still be worth applying to hopefully get interview practice and experience. I was able to become better at interviewing and answering complex questions by interviewing at jobs I otherwise wouldn't normally accept. It is awkward and tedious, but the only way to get better at it is to keep grinding at it.
I was able to find my first job in the Video Game Industry by updating my LinkedIn page to be as accurate and have as much information as possible. After that I searched LinkedIn and Hit marker jobs daily to see if any jobs were posted that I qualified for, I applied to over 110 in the span of 2 months.
I'd say in your case given you're in Highschool it would be good to set up daily job alerts from LinkedIn and google for summer internships at EA, Activision, Blizzard, and any other local gaming companies that have summer internship programs. These are fantastic opportunities and great boosts to your resume.
