Kerry’s Answer

It's subjective - I'd say it depends on what you like to learn about. I got my bachelor's in electrical engineering and I learned in my first software class that I didn't like coding at all, so I steered clear of those classes as electives and my focus was on hardware engineering related courses. Every type of engineering is going to have some very challenging classes (ex. thermodynamics, electromagnetics, etc.). You may want to research how much school is needed for most careers in the field. Is a bachelor's degree enough or would you need to pursue masters and/or PhD? Also certain engineering careers may require a PE exam, for example. In my experience, the first year of college in engineering is usually generic (math and science classes) so you still have time to decide which type to pursue and switch your major without falling behind.

Kerry recommends the following next steps:

Take a look at curriculums on a college website to see what you think you'd enjoy most.
Look at some job descriptions to see what's required.

Adhiragni’s Answer

Computer Science - you have to use the extent of your analytical and logical skills almost everyday. You are constantly challenged either by learning a new language or technology or some algorithm. You hone your skills as a problem solver and finding solutions when no one can and also get creative freedom - to basically design or create anything you want.

Ritu’s Answer

The most challenging engineering is ECE which is Electrical and Computer Engineering , which is a dual major. However you increase your job prospect as this is in great demand. This does include some Computer Science elective courses which will let you minor with Comp science.
It really depends on what your interest is. I would say apart from challenging it is the most highly rated.

Erez’s Answer

The way I see it, ECE is the most comprehensive and challenging, due to the field types contains in this degree.
You kinda touch and get a taste in (almost) every subject in engineering, and you choose what to develop and strength yourself in.
From there you can divert to signal processing, circuits, software, etc.
