Lisa’s Answer

Yes, you can enter the computer science field with pretty much any major. I have known people that majored in psychology, aviation studies, business management, etc. You can opt to take a variety of classes that have nothing to do with your major just to get an idea of what you enjoy the most. Then consider interning at a software company and further your exposure that way to better understand what the role would actually look like. Many companies these days offer opportunities for internal development and movement so it really doesn't matter what your major is in most cases.

Ali’s Answer

Yes, you can. The majority of computer science courses can be applied to other science and engineering degrees. I would wait and see what classes you like, and that would help you determine what degree you want to pursue, you could minor and major degrees as I did in computer science and electrical engineering.
I hope this helps and good luck with whatever degree path you take.

John’s Answer

Absolutely! I would mix this in with other course needed to obtain a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering. As you progress you may discover that you’re more interested in another major, only time will tell.
