Yes, it is very important to love what you do. Think about what makes you happy and challenges you to do your best and go for it! I love computer science/analysis and once I successfully completed my courses, I went to work and I was quickly promoted in my field. Therefore, pursue courses that are tailored to you and prepare to work hard to meet your goals. It helps to do your research using websites such as Glassdoor for opportunities that closely align to your field. Enjoy your journey!

Hi there, if you're asking how I got my job then the simple answer is applying through LinkedIn, utilizing an internal recommendation, and prepping/going through a 3-round interview process. However, if you're asking how I got interested in my job, then I would definitely say by being open-minded and passionate about my interests. There are definitely a lot of emotions when you initially start looking for your first career job. I'll be honest, be prepared for rejection - But, also once you do get that final yes, make sure it's with a company who aligns with your values. I'd suggest making a checklist on an excel sheet or through Notion and really research these companies through their website, LinkedIn, relevant news, and Glassdoor. Hope this helps!
