Katherine’s Answer

Hi Cindy! Do you already have a 4-year bachelor's degree? And you are now asking about switching gears and going to medical school?
It is possible to apply to medical school with a bachelor's degree in say, History, Art, Music, Philosophy, as long as you take the requisite Pre-Med courses. These include Physiology, Physics, Calculus, Biology, Biochemistry, and a few more. Usually, this involves applying for a "Post-Baccalaureate" program or you could enroll in the courses at a Community College near you. I would suggest looking at the Admissions page/Applicant information for a medical school you are interested in - they will outline the required courses and you can go from there.

April’s Answer

Before going to medical school, you need to complete an undergraduate education. Once you complete the undergraduate education and other medical school admissions requirements, then you are eligible to attend medical school.
