Monique’s Answer
Absolutely! It's alright to be bored. Though you may love your job, there will always be aspects that you may not love. Sometimes you have to do admin work that is tedious or you may work on a project that doesn't challenge you. As long as majority of the time you feel inspired, then it's ok to be bored once in a while. Try to stay curious. There is always something new to learn.

Short answer: NO!
Longer answer: If you work in a job that you genuinely enjoy, you wont consider it "work" and it'll be that much easier for you to do your job every day. It sounds like a cliché, but I am never bored at work because I love what I do (I work in Private Wealth Management, our team manages money for high net worth individuals). I am a huge supporter of taking the time to figure out what you want to do as a career and not letting someone else's opinion change your thought process. Do what you want to do, and as long as you give your best, you can be successful according to your own definition of the term.

Of course! This is completely normal. Some jobs are different everyday, and some are very repetitive. The main thing is your mindset, and understanding that you get out what you put in. So if you catch yourself getting bored, maybe that is a good time to reset and think of creative ways that you can make your job either more exciting or more effective. In some cases this is also a good time to take a break and remind yourself why you chose that career path originally. Also note that you can get bored of tasks that you used to find interesting. If you find yourself getting bored easily or wanting a schedule that is always different, you should keep that in mind when first deciding on a career.
Great suggestions, Hattie! These work for students and teachers :)
