It would depend mostly on what you want to do and the type of style of job that you can see yourself working. Both have there pros and cons, each having benefits and disadvantages.
Now if I HAD to choose one for myself and nobody else, out of these two options I would rather pick the truck driver. With the truck driver, sure it doesn't pay as much as a medical surgeon and I would be away from home a lot, but I would rather deal with that than deal with the stress that comes with being a medical surgeon. With medical surgeons, they have to deal with high stress jobs that leads to depression, anxiety, and relationship issues among many other negative parts of the job. If you think you can deal with ALL of these potential problems while remaining calm in order to perform your medical surgeon job, then this could be a great career for you.
Truck drivers also have the fair share of problems, but they would be easier to cope with (in my opinion) than medical surgeon.
