When applying for college there is often at least two parts, one to show your background including classes and extracurriculars and another that is an essay portion. When providing info about your background, you can include here if you've taken any business specific classes already, clubs you've been a part of, or other ventures you may have already been a part of. Then, in the essay portion, here is really your time to shine! It is great if you are able to tell a personal and impactful story. This should be something that is unique to you, but your chance to really show something you're passionate about or a time when you've been able to learn and grow, and of course this can include your previous business work if you have it.

Be creative and show a mature business side and desire when applying. Be to the point in your essay or cover letter and triple check so no grammatical or spelling errors. Either jobs as a teenager showing business focus or volunteering will shoe initiative over others that don't show the same initiative.

Have a story to tell. Yes, it is important to have high grades (aim for 90%+ for Math and English especially), but why you are pursuing business and how admission would help you achieve your dreams would be even more impactful. Did you operate a lemonade stand as a child? Did you grow up seeing a family member operate a food stand for long hours and you wondered if there was a strategy for success? Know how your business degree can help you.
Also, take part in a diverse group of extracurriculars. I recommend joining clubs and staying in one or two there long enough to become a VP/President. Shows commitment and leadership on your end as well as interest in the subject matter/field.
And of course, don't be afraid to show personality but balance it with maturity and professionalism during interviews (in person or video) :)

All excellent answers above.
My two cents: BEFORE you get to university...do it ALL. Try to experience as much of life as you possibly can. Try as many odd jobs as possible, travel as much as you can, talk with as many professionals as you know. One great practice is to take a professional to coffee at least once a week - you don't have to drink coffee. Ask each one of them to meet with you for 30 minutes and ask them how they got to where they are, what are they glad they did, if they had to do it over again, what would they do differently.
AFTER you've done all of that, the answer to your question will become much clearer. You'll be able to present yourself in a way that is likely more knowledgeable and more worldly than you are today. That will work to your benefit. Good luck!
