Hello K'eonna,
Congratulations on wanting to become a CNA! Some long-term care facilities (nursing homes) have CNA training programs. Technical schools offer CNA training programs as well. Talk with the financial aid office at the school to see what type of financial assistance you qualify for. Applying for financial aid might qualify you for money that will pay for your education at a technical school. Good luck, I hope this was helpful.

Hi K'eonna!
Both community colleges and technical schools offer certification course. I also know some hospitals and the Red Cross also offer CNA classes. Most of these courses can take anywhere from 4-12 weeks to complete. You will want to make sure you put the time and effort into prep work and studying, but in the end it will be worth it! If you have the desire to help others and make a difference in patient lives- you are on the right track.
Good luck!
