I have been going through physical therapy for neck and shoulder tension. The hardship of going through is the pace of exercise. Workouts are not tough if you are physically active ( 3-5 days of workout ), but the speed with which it has to be done is tough. Another big hardship is stress management. The discomfort and anxiety that pain produces also cause stress and it affects the part that has pain too. Untill we let go of the body and recover by itself it is not going to help.
