David’s Answer

A little salt helps, but not too much. Most packaged food has too much sodium (part of what's in salt) already. But a little salt on fresh veggies...

Spices--do you like pepper, chili flake? Adds flavor without sodium! Also there's cumin and paprika (curry and chili has this), so many others...

Garlic and onion (cooked, unless you can handle raw)!

Herbs are usually plant leaves with special flavors--rosemary (small amounts good on meat), thyme, oregano (spaghetti sauce often has this), basil

Condiments--ketchup, mayo, mustard, vinegar... use small amounts.

Cooking changes the flavor--please ask grownups for help! Cooking in a pan requires cooking oil. Cooked onions and garlic taste a lot better than raw! Even broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, and carrots taste great with cooking in a little oil and a bit of salt. Toasting in a toaster oven with a little oil coating is good too.

Good luck!

Sal’s Answer

Not every food taste good. Find something you like and eat that :)

If there is something you want to make taste better I would stick to sauces like BBQ or Hot sauce because its so easy and quick. But be careful, some are spicy!
