Madison L- That is a great question, initially I too didn't want to be behind the scenes honestly, I wanted to just be on camera let others concern themselves with the broadcasting editing and all that stuff.
The Art Institute of Atlanta is where I began that journey, there was a program called Music Business Management the program had two sides. Audio/Video of course I went for the Video side that had it's own paths. Talent and Technical had a blast on the talent side learned how to speak, interview even had my own little show there on campus.
Finished the program went on to do other things but realized that the folk in front of the camera weren't the decision makers. They weren't the creatives, that I then had to return to another program to learn those things I wished I had learn along with the talent side so that I wasn't just taken direction. Stand here, look there being handed a script and reading a teleprompter got old real fast.
Madison L the answer to your question is yes, there are programs that will teach you just to be the talent in front of the camera, but even if that's your end goal. Learn the other stuff enough just to make yourself knowledgeable that if the person doing the editing, operating the camera or engineering your sound are doing the best job that could be done to present you in the best possible way.
Good Luck on your journey. Hope to see you interviewing down at Steeler Stadium or with the Browns.

I'm pretty sure you're looking to go to school for a "communications" degree. Check it out.

I would look at schools that offer film/broadcasting/journalism degrees. Some state schools may offer just that and you'll get the hands on experience. It's up to you if you want to be in front of the camera or behind.
